Sylvester Mode

Sylvester Mode serves as Executive Vice President of Community Relations at DeblinGas, where he leads the company’s efforts to build mutually beneficial partnerships with host co mmunities.
Mr. Mode holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and an MBA from Nicholls State University. His career spans the oil and gas industry, public sector finance, and environmental engineering.
He served as a Budget Analyst with the Washington D.C. Public Schools System, where he designed and implemented relational database solutions, and later spent twenty-five years as an Environmental Engineer with the D.C. Department of the Environment, overseeing assessments of underground storage tank impacts on local communities. He remains deeply committed to advancing educational access and socioeconomic development for Itsekiri communities through the CIPHE (SEED) vision.
