Our Story
Concerned Itsekiri People for Higher Education (CIPHE) Foundation, doing business as Social, Educational, and Economic Development (SEED), was born out of a shared conviction among Itsekiri professionals in the diaspora: that education is the most powerful engine for sustainable transformation.
Across continents, our members have excelled in academia, business, technology, healthcare, public service, and entrepreneurship, yet, no matter how far we have traveled, our roots remain firmly planted in Itsekiri land. We recognized that while talent abounds in our communities, access to higher education, infrastructure, and economic opportunity remains limited for many.
SEED was created to bridge that gap.
Our Impacts So Far
By far our greatest project is the Proposed University of Warri at Obitugbo near Koko. Moreover, our ongoing scholarship program for promising secondary school students is also among the projects.
